To not understand the purpose of a thing, leads to abuse of the thing. Lack of understanding of the source and purpose of prayer has lead many Believers/Christians to pray ineffectively, have misguided perceptions about prayer, or hardly pray at all. Many Christians have hit-or-miss prayers because they don’t know how to pray or why and they are just hoping with no faith (knowledge and belief in the Word of God) to back it up – no real sincerity and assurance on the inside. God “ has given us EVERYTHING that pertains unto life and Godliness” (2 Peter 1:3 KJV). We already have the tools and instructions – Thank you Jesus!

Make up your mind today that the confusion and complication of prayer stops here and now! This is not about religious traditions and customs. You have the liberty to make the choice to “…choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV). This is about success and victory in your purpose-driven, Christian life and your relationship with your Father, The Living, Most High God.

Our Lord, Jesus only did what His Father told Him. How could He accomplish His God-given purpose here on earth with such focus, power and confidence without investing in a close relationship and communion with His Father? It could not have been done. He would have been intercepted and overrun by Satan.

How can yougain a close relationship and effective communication with our Creator and Father? – Through effective prayer and meditation rooted and based upon the Word of God – The Bible.

I encourage you to dust it off, open it and determine that you will grow and develop (spirit, soul and body) TODAY! Ask God to open the eyes of your heart and mind to receive His revelation knowledge and the bottom-line truth in His Word.
